The FUSE Career Fair (Formerly the Partnership in Employment Career Fair) was first held in 1995 - a collaboration between Gonzaga University, Eastern Washington University, Whitworth University and Washington State University-Spokane. Originally known as the "Partnership in Employment EXPO", the fair has taken place annually, hosting an average of more than 100 employers with attendance of more than 700 students and alumni.
The FUSE Career Fair is committed to promoting a diverse workforce. The explicit goals of the partnership are to assist students of all backgrounds in their career searches and to raise employer awareness of the diversity and high quality of the graduates from all four participating universities.
Organizations representing a wide range of corporations, not-for-profit organizations, educational institutions, and governmental agencies attend the fair, promoting full-time, part-time and professional internship opportunities. Students and alumni from the five universities come from a diverse range of academic disciplines such as business, English, sociology, economics, computer science and engineering.
