Alaska General Seafoods, AGS, is socially responsible company processing fresh, wild, sustainably caught Alaskan salmon, and we are seeking hardworking individuals to join us for a summer in Alaska! We are currently hiring to fill our seafood processor positions in Naknek, AK from mid-June through the beginning of August 2021. As a seafood processor, you can expect long hours (12-18 hour shifts, 7 days a week during our peak!) likely spent standing, doing the same task repeatedly, handling fish. While putting in these strenuous hours, we offer our employees on site housing, meals, and travel from Seattle, WA for free in addition to a competitive wage and experiencing a summer in Alaska! Idaho Conservation Corps
Idaho Conservation Corps is a state wide program of Northwest Youth Corps. Northwest Youth Corps (NYC) was started in 1984—during a tough economic period—with the mission of helping youth and young adults to learn, grow, and experience success. Since that time, NYC has helped 17,000 diverse young people benefit from education, leadership, empowerment, and challenge, while completing high priority resource management objectives across the state. Annually NYC crews carry out 180,000 hours of projects such as invasive plant removal, riparian planting, stream restoration, fence construction, and trail maintenance for a variety of federal, state, and local partners.

Union Gospel Mission (UGM) Youth Outreach
UGM Youth Outreach is hiring for summer staff! Positions run from June 21st- August 20th. Our current roles include Camp Behavioral Specialist, and Inner City Staff. We serve over 500 youth ages 8-19 each summer! All housing, food, and training is included!
Additionally, we are accepting applications for our 2021-2022 school year IMPACT Ministry Internship! The internship runs from September - June, interns serve 20 hours a week in our afterschool program and other UGM departments. There is a program fee associated, and all housing, food, and training is included for the 10 months. This is a fantastic opportunity to serve at risk youth in the Spokane community while attending school or working. This internship is open to all years and majors.
